In May 2016 we made the trip across to Silhouette Island to visit the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa. We had debated paying the price for this stay for quite some time, but we were so glad we did! Being residents in the Seychelles meant we got to enjoy a one night stay half-board for approximately £250, it’s normally nearer £1000!
To stay at the hotel you first have to book your boat crossing to the island, which is included in the hotel price. You check-in for your stay at the boat port before boarding the boat for the 30 minute crossing. 
When we arrived at Silhouette we were taken to our room by a golf cart and they point out all of the important features such as walking trails, the restaurants and so on during the journey. We were initially put in a garden villa and we couldn’t believe how luxurious it was when we entered! There were chocolate brownies and a fruit plate waiting for us too.
While staying at the Hilton we enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool which looked out to the beautiful aqua sea beyond. 
We used the complimentary bikes to explore more of the site and see some of the other beaches, which was good fun!
We used the gym which was nice and quiet and included TV screens and a stereo you can use. We also visited the spa while it was pouring with rain which was really fun. We enjoyed using the hot tub in the rain!
We were also lucky enough to be upgraded to a beachfront villa which literally opened up onto the beach. This was a fab way to wake up to be able to stroll into the sea across a deserted beach at 7am!
The room also included a complimentary ‘romantic’ bath, which was beautiful!
For dinner we visited the Asian restaurant where we were sat on our romantic table together. We enjoyed a lovely glass of champagne with our delicious meal!
The hotel is amazing! It has wonderful facilities and the rooms are beautiful. We felt so lucky to experience a hotel like this for a night, a great way to spend Deb’s 30th birthday!
